Ron painted outside on as many days as the weather allowed, and in Teesdale that meant winter too: snow on the walls and lanes around Holwick, sheep sheltering by the barns and woods heavy with snow. His Seasons paintings follow the year round, and Santa Nearly Done is his one with a Christmas twist.

A winter painting makes a lasting Christmas present for anyone who loves the dales. Every painting is reproduced as a Giclée print from Ron’s original watercolour, in A4, A3 or A2, unmounted or mounted, and as an A5 card. Every order supports the Great North Air Ambulance Service.

Questions about Ron’s winter paintings

  • To be safe, please order prints and cards by 7 December and mounted prints by 24 November. For a print going overseas, order by 14 November.

  • Mostly in Teesdale, where Ron lived from 2014, including Winter at Holwick, and in the dales around it.

  • Yes, unmounted prints can be sent to most countries, rolled in a tube, for £26.95. Please allow up to 28 days. Mounted prints and cards can only go to UK addresses.
