Vaux Pub Signs Card: Heritage Collection
£4.25
A collage card of Ron’s Vaux pub signs: drays, ships, a steam engine and The Brewery Tap.
Every order supports the Great North Air Ambulance Service, Ron’s own chosen charity.
The Heritage Collection brings together six of Ron’s pub signs for Vaux: Lorimers, with a Vaux dray and its heavy horses, The Locomotive, The Brewery Tap, Vaux Ales’ The Grindon Mill, The Steam Boat and The Shepherd & Shepherdess. The Brewery Tap, in the centre, was the most famous sign Ron painted, hanging outside the pub in Sunderland city centre.
Ron painted more than 400 pub signs for Vaux Breweries, hanging outside pubs across the North East, and he worked on the interiors of Vaux Inns and Hotels. The signs themselves have long since come down, so cards like this are one of the few ways to see them now, and they are much loved by anyone who collects Vaux memories. Read about Ron’s Vaux years.
Every card sold supports the Great North Air Ambulance Service, the charity Ron chose to support.
