Every Print Supports the Great North Air Ambulance
The Great North Air Ambulance Service was Ron’s own chosen charity. His family carry on his wish: every print, mounted print, card and calendar sold supports GNAAS under an agreement with the charity.
Ron’s Own Chosen Charity
Ron chose to support the Great North Air Ambulance during his life, and raising much-needed funds for it was his wish. Janet and Andrew are carrying that on now his paintings are available as prints, under an agreement with GNAAS.
The Final Brush
Ron was still painting in his last weeks. At his exhibition in May 2026, visitors were invited to help finish his final painting with his own watercolours and brushes, for it to be sold by silent auction with all the proceeds going to the Great North Air Ambulance Service.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service is a registered charity (no. 1092204). Its helicopters fly a doctor and paramedic team to people who are seriously ill or injured, bringing hospital-level care to the scene.
